Earlier this month, the Yale SOM Alumni Relations team collaborated with the Career Development Office and the Program on Entrepreneurship to host the 2019 San Francisco Alumni Ventures Panel and Student West Coast Job Trek Networking Reception. On Tuesday, January 8th, more than 100 alumni and current Yale SOM students participating in the West Coast Job Trek gathered at the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco for the event.
Jennifer McFadden ‘08, Associate Director of Entrepreneurial Programs and Lecturer in the Practice of Management, delivered a programmatic update and led the panel conversation with four Yale SOM alumni. The panel featured Jake Dreier ‘16, Director of Growth and Operations at SimplyVital Health, Joshua Fried ’07, General Manager and Head of Waze Carpool at Waze, Dianna Liu ’18, President and Founder at ARIX Technologies, and Hannah Stonebraker ’20, Progressive Politics Content Management Intern at Brigade. The panelists talked about how their experience at Yale SOM helped them after graduation as they launched their ventures or began careers in the innovation space.
